If you do not provide information requested during a ticket purchase or registration, we may be unable to process the transaction, issue your ticket or provide the relevant service.

4. Event communications and marketing

If you purchase or register for a BPM event, we may contact you with information reasonably necessary to administer your booking or participation. These operational communications may include ticket confirmations, venue details, entry requirements, set times, safety information and updates concerning the event.

Where you have consented, or where otherwise permitted by law, we may also send you marketing communications concerning:

• upcoming BPM events;
• presales and ticket releases;
• event announcements;
• competitions and giveaways;
• BPM merchandise; and
• offers from BPM Events or selected event partners.

Marketing communications may be sent by email, SMS or other electronic means.

You can unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time by:

• clicking the unsubscribe link in an email;
• following the opt-out instructions in an SMS; or
• contacting general@bpmevents.com.au.

Unsubscribing from marketing will not prevent us from sending important information about an event or order you already hold.

5. Disclosure of personal information

We may disclose personal information where reasonably necessary to:

• ticketing and payment providers;
• venues, security teams and event operators;
• artists, promoters and event partners where required for event delivery;
• website hosting, database and cloud-storage providers;
• email, SMS and customer communication providers;
• merchandise, fulfilment and delivery providers;
• analytics, advertising and marketing providers;
• accountants, insurers, lawyers and professional advisers;
• government, law-enforcement or regulatory authorities where required or permitted by law; and
• a purchaser or successor if all or part of our business is sold, transferred or restructured.

We do not sell customer contact information to unrelated third parties.

Where we conduct an event with another promoter or partner, we will only share identifiable customer information where this is reasonably required to operate the event, you have been informed of the arrangement, you have consented, or the disclosure is otherwise permitted by law.

6. Ticketing providers

Tickets to BPM events may be sold through independent ticketing providers.

When you use a ticketing provider:

• that provider collects and processes your information under its own privacy policy and terms;
• the provider may disclose relevant order and customer information to BPM Events as the event organiser;
• BPM Events may use that information to administer the event, provide customer support, analyse attendance and communicate with ticket holders; and
• BPM Events will only use the information for direct marketing where consent has been provided or where otherwise permitted by law.

Questions about the ticketing provider’s own handling of payment details, accounts or platform information should be directed to that provider.
