BPM EVENTS - OUR STORY
HOW IT STARTED
BPM was born during lockdown. When dance floors were empty and music was silenced. With no venues open and no events running, we created our own. It started with a 300 person boat party on Sydney Harbour. Raw, intimate, and built purely out of passion.
There was no business plan. Just a desire to bring people together through music again... What began as a DIY rave quickly grew into something more. A movement dedicated to creating real, high-quality experiences for the Australian electronic scene.
WHAT WE STAND FOR
BPM stands for Beats Per Minute — the rhythm of music, the pulse of life.
To us, it’s more than just events. It’s about connection — between people, sound, and space. Every BPM event is designed with intention, from the sound system to the lighting, visuals, artist curation, and overall flow.
We put experience first — and everyone is welcome.
No matter who you are or where you're from, you’re invited to be part of the BPM FAM.
THE RISE
One of the biggest turning points in our journey was hosting BLK at Oxford Art Factory. The energy of that night sparked a shift — and it pushed BPM into a new era. Soon after, the BLK Australia Tour made BPM a name recognised nationwide.
Then came our first large-scale festival, Meltdown Festival. With thousands of attendees, world-class production, and a powerful lineup, it marked a new chapter in what BPM could be.
There’ve been challenges. Doubts. Sleepless nights.
But the reward is always the same: standing behind the booth or in the crowd, feeling the energy peak as thousands of people share a single moment.
THE BPM FAM
At the heart of BPM is the community.
The BPM FAM isn’t just a crowd, it’s a force. A group of passionate, like-minded people who come together to celebrate sound, movement, and freedom.
There’s unity on our dance floors. No egos. No judgment. Just shared energy and connection.
We’ve seen strangers become friends. Moments become memories. And that’s what we’re here to create, again and again.
WHATS NEXT
We’re always looking forward. More cities. New concepts. Unexpected moments.
But the vision stays the same: build unforgettable experiences, push the scene forward, and bring people together through music.
